Nissan South Africa
Missing Parts

Miscellaneous

My 2.5 year old car (which I bought new) had never been in an accident or needed mechanical attention except scheduled services.
Following its 60 000 service in November, it was eventually diagnosed as needing a new coil, which would be fitted under warranty conditions. I waited over a month for the coil to be stocked and fitted. After it finally came, it took three attempts (over the space of a week) to eventually get the problem sorted out.
On finally taking possession of the car, I indicated to the mechanic that there are a couple of screws visibly missing on the engine. He ignored me and the car was given back to me with two -holes that evidently were not there before. I shudder to think what else will be going wrong with the car in the near future.
