SA Post Office
Waiting 2 months... no delivery

My friend in China mailed a parcel to me in the beginning of November 2013, I went to the Post Office weekly to check my box for the notification slip, however there was nothing. I continued to check my box and waited, figuring it takes longer from China. 4 days ago I went to the branch to ask them why my parcel is taking so long. They replied that they sent my parcel back to China because I did not come to collect it. I went weekly without receiving any notification. The response was that they do not send notifications over holiday periods as many people are away (even 2 weeks in January). They sent it back and told me that I have to pay again and next time my friend should tell me when he posts it. I find it absolutely ridiculous that no one notifies you, why am I paying for a service and for my post box.
