INCOMPETENCE SABC TV Licence VVM Debt Collectors

Dear Sir/Madam

I emailed SABC TV Licence on the 06th of November 2013, to inform them that I wanted to cancel my licence as I had departed SA and had sold my TV on the 01st of November. I sent a receipt via email on the 13th of November 2013 to prove this.

I then received a response from them requesting that I complete and send an affidavit to prove this. I dutifully obtained an affidavit from my local Police Station here in Benalla, Victoria, AUSTRALIA and emailed this to them on the 27th of November 2013.

Despite my long untarnished relationship with SABC TV Licences, the fact that I was fully paid up until the 31st of October 2013 (inclusive) and the fact that I have sent them every piece of evidence to prove that what I say is true, they have hounded me.
I have now received an email from VVM Debt Collectors - requesting the sum of R316.50 for an unpaid TV Licence!!! I fail to understand what the problem is?!

At no stage have I received the name or the direct email address of a person with which to correspond with at SABC or VVM. I have just sent an email to each company requesting such.
I will not be calling from AUSTRALIA.

Disgruntled!!!
