Yest I received a delivery through Interflora from Ruby Mountain Flowers. A HUGE bouquet - far too big for any utensil I have for displaying flowers!!
I phoned Ruby Flowers this morning and said, who would make such a huge bouquet for any private household to manage? The owner said that her hands were 'tied' by Interflora. She asked what she could do to make things right as she has to go by what is ordered. I said she is now putting the blame on Interflora which I was not happy about.
We came to the conclusion that COMMON SENSE has to be used, after all she did have a phone number for me.
Apart from that I went on to say to her that some of the flowers either weren't suitable or else weren't handled delicately. The spray carnations heads were either falling off or bent over, the delicate white flowers had already started to drop and since my call, the delphinium petals are also dropping. The lilies are much shorter than the rest and their petals are also dropping. She made no comment to this.

Do Interflora give any leeway to the florist or should - they have contacted me or used their own initiative?
