Promised results on product does not delive

I used vanish power O2 carpet cleaner for the first time on carpets on Saturday and it left terrible white stains on carpet. I re- shampooned with industrial machine that I hired but the white stains remain. I am mortified! I have always used vanish power O2 fabric stains remover but the carpet cleaner was such a disappointment! I don't know what I will do with beige white stained carpets in 2014!
