Oil Stains all over carpet

I took my car (Audi A4) to Care Care Clinic (Rivonia) this morning to fit new brake pads. I was shocked when I entered my car to find that my entire cream coloured carpet and mat (on the driver's side) is stained with pitch black oil. There are also oil stains on my door. I will probably have to pay hundreds of Rands to get the oil out of my carpet (if it can be cleaned...). This is going to turn out to be a very expensive brake pads replacement. I am disgusted and in awe of this absolutely ridiculous scenario...
