Not honouring guarantee

I purchased a pressure washer from Game in Empangeni. After 10 months the pump started leaking causing a short and tripping the earth leakage on the DB. I returned it to Game who sent it back to Karcher as it was within the 12month guarantee.

The response from Karcher/Game was that they would not repair it because "judging by the exterior condition it has been abused".

The casing has plenty of scratches and scuffs because it gets stored in a shed along with all sorts of other things and Im sure that it gets dragged around but no amount mishandling will cause a pump seal failure.

I dont accept that as a valid argument for not honouring the guarantee.
