Poor Service and No Responses

I sent my car in July of this year (2013) to be sprayed and have some work done. I was told it would be ready in 3 weeks, since then there have been issues with payments and no responses.
Firstly the car was handed over to have the bodywork done. During this process the company doing the work withheld releasing the car as they had not been paid by Vintage Custom Auto Work. I had paid in full up-front so the money was there.

After 4 months of sitting there (whilst I was told there was work being done), it was moved to do some engine work - the body was still not completed.

It was then moved to another company to complete some engine work a month ago, I now have no idea where my car is or what has been done to it.

All during this time I was assured that I would receive updates, of which when I did get where just more problems that were found.

I still have no idea where my vehicle is or the extent of work that has been done.
