R1500 for a service not rendered

To be charged a service of R 1500, and not receive the service is shocking and this is what happened to me,

I requested a Bleaching kit and was told that the cost was R2300 to which I agreed. I broke my ankle and was unable to go through and collect the kit. but was informed that i personally had to go in. When I managed to arrange a lift, I had a 5 minute consultation with a different dentist, and then the bill came through, breaking down the cost. R 540 for the Gum guard, R 240 for the bleach and R1520 for the instructions and application.

I went through and paid for the bleaching kit of 780 plus a fee of R285 for the 5 minutes that was given me. I have been since told tough luck, I have to pay the whole amount even if I didnt receive the service. Now, I dont mean to be rude, but using a bleach kit is self explanatory and to charge R1520 for a 5 minute explanation is exorbitant and high way in my eyesl
