Hello Peter.

On the 16 of August I logged a service with Eskom to have my account down graded from conventional 3 phase Meter to prepaid meter. They told me it was impossible as I needed to 1st do the downgrade. I did the application. and no one has given me feed back 3 month and 2 weeks later although they told me they will attend within 3 month. I have been calling Eskom and have been given different and confusing advices, some agents say I can go from 3 phase to prepaid and some especially the regional office in Polokwane say I 1st have to downgrade to single phase but the tariff still stay the same. I have spend over 1000 rand calling Eskom taken from pillar to post. Some of the agent do not even know what they are doing. All I want is convert from the current tariff to Prepaid as I can no longer afford the High Network and admin Charges of 3 Phase.

I feel like Eskom does not want to help or the agents do not know what they are doing. I have done all the applications they asked me to do and to date I still do not see any progress. I still did not get a quote or feed back regarding the progress of my application.

The service is atrocious and terrible.
