On 22 Nov i went to Port Elizabeth north-end branch to renewal my car licence, for the past years visiting the post office to renewal my cars licences, you got a same poor service with short staff & long queue, the problem with poor service is around having one line served by two staff members who deal with individuals &car dealers representatives which have at once about 50 to 200 clients; as a individual you have to suffer by setting there for more than 4 to 8 hours waiting for your turn. this kind of poor service is not acceptable at all. management must be proactive to introduce queue management tools or come up with ideas like having a designated person who will deal solely for car dealer and a separated staff members dealing with individual or increase your staff capacity to 4 per day&restrict the dealership application to 5 per day or help the dealership representatives from 8am until 12pm. Post Office can't operate like this forever because there are monopoly in the market. please learn some lessons from home affairs and SARS queue management system which improve your customer service and please send your staff for training to improve customer communication &goodmanners
