I have endured a 3.5yr process of attempting to register with the HPCSA. At all levels, the service was poor and extremely slow and I was misinformed along the way, causing time and effort to be expended for nothing. I have complained about this process and requested a response from the HPCSA management. I also submitted a letter from a lawyer to the same effect. Two weeks have passed and I have had no response. No one has taken responsibility for the lack of service delivery. In the past I emailed the CEO on two occasions to complain about lack of service, and in neither case did I get a response. The HPCSA have ignored correspondence and provided false information. The only time I received a quick response was when I posted a complaint on Hello Peter or threatened to report them to the Public Protector. I am trying the same approach again as it seems to be the only thing that works.

I have tried emailing, I have tried phoning, I have tried patience and courtesy; I have tried to go through the proper channels. Unfortunately my experience has been that the HPCSA waits for the client to get angry and make a major complaint before it responds.
