No invoice

We bought a office telephone that works as a prepaid phone from this company and with my EFT payment I received a invoice. When I made a payment for the airtime that I needed for the phone I requested a invoice not a Tax invoice as I understand they are not a registered company, only to find out that they can not give me a invoice for the the money that was paid over to them. With any company you need to prove all transactions that have been done, so I don't see why this company can not give me the requested invoice. Very suspicious
