Three weeks to cremate my mothe

I am deeply disappointed with the service I have received from Doves Funeral Service, Roodepoort. My mother passed away on Wed 14 August, and I have only received her ashes today, three weeks later.

Initially we were told that we'd have her ashes by Thursday 22 August (the day after her funeral) - we were okay with that. But then we heard nothing... for another week and nobody bothered to call me and I had to keep following up over and over again. As if I wasn't already distressed enough... I have been so appalled by the lack of empathy and the lack of communication during this difficult time.

Only after my nagging did Sharon the Manager tell me that they would cremate my mom on Friday 30 Aug and she would call me on the Monday, but alas no word.
I'm an extremely patient person if someone just keeps me informed but waiting three weeks is absolutely unacceptable. I said the least they could do was deliver them to me after all the trouble caused, and they finally did today and guess what??? I received a tiny little wooden box, not even a lovely urn which I was promised as
part of the service - how insensitive! My heart is so sore over the way this has been handled...
