Efuse to admit quilt on damaged product loaded

Miscellaneous

My driver collected goods (fluids) in 25 liter drums from their warehouse in Cape Town. approximately 2 km away from warehouse another motorist made him aware of fluid running of the back. He stopped another 2 kilometres further when the road allowed it. He investigated the load and found one of the drums damaged at the bottom when it was loaded by the warehouse staff. He phoned them immediately and they reffered him back to the supplier in Johannesburg. He returned the drum the next day and they claimed that it happened when the driver was driving and the load shifted when cornering. I contacted mr Slade and he also said that if we sign for containers it is our responsibility to ensure that they are not damaged. Emails to proof.
I did explain to him that the drum was sealed and that it was impossible for the driver to pick up 13x 25kg drum to make sure they were not damaged. Due to the vacuum it only started leaking when the sun heated the contents and that is why it only happened on the road. Tracker to proof. To rectify problem will cost them a few hundred rand, but I am loosing more than a thousand threehundred rand. Thus after spending R 44 860 since January this year.
