Poor service, poor treatment

Went for a regular eye test at Classic Eyes Pavilion. Was told my prescription hadn't changed, the optometrist just adjusted my current frame to sit better. Soon as I got home I saw the one lense had a patch of fine cracks that were DEFINITELY not there before. I immediately phoned back & was told to bring the glasses in. They said the cracks were from age, I told them they weren't there before. Then I was told adjustments were at my own risk, to which I replied that NOBODY told me that before hand & they had no signage stating that anywhere. I spoke to the manager he said they they will give me 50% off new lenses ON CONDITION I buy a new frame! I didn't feel I should pay for anything as my original frame & lenses were perfect before the adjustment! The manager was very unhelpful, telling me he can't assist as that was his instruction from higher up. I was finally told I would get lenses free ON CONDITION I BUY A FRAME. I was desperate, I need glasses to study so relented & bought a frame :(

After picking up the new glasses & after all the trouble, they had given the wrong prescription. I have to take them BACK now.

I feel very belittled & frustrated as a paying customer.
