My team and I that are studying at Vega Brand Leadership School. We are conducting market research for an NGO/NPO named CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation). The research will be used to create a campaign to create more brand awareness and public involvement with CHOC and children with cancer. We created a basic questionnaire which we wanted NGOs to complete. The questionnaire will provide us with a deeper insight into what CHOC needs as an NGO to begin becoming a household name and higher regarded NGO like FTFA.
We sent them an e-mail explaining exactly what we wanted them to do with the questionnaire. Which is made up of 11 questions. It requires no more than a sentence or two to answer, some questions are even multiple choice.
They replied with the following:
"Whist we appreciate your work and encourage your help for CHOC we are a hard working NGO and are currently extremely busy preparing for Arbor Month so do not have time to fill out questionnaires. Best wishes the FTFA team"
I am asking myself the question - how can an NGO expect anyone to take some of their personal time and spend it on them when they cannot even give 5 minutes of their own time to help some students?
