ARA Group hassle you with prescribed debt

ARA Group sent me an sms I phoned and told them my claim had prescribed 8 years ago with Nedbank.
Claim number is 16895888 .They then sent another 2 sms and keep asking you to pay for a prescribed debt.
I have asked them 3 times to take me off theie list, but nothing happens.
They get a book debt, with no history and they just start hassling people.
I am tired of debt collectors who are not professional.
