The advent of my sickly wife's birthday arrives. It's the perfect opportunity to alleviate the chronic symptoms asociated with her illness by booking her into a Spa for her birthday. Tangaroa Strawberry Farm & Spa - wow these guys sound really classy - the perfect gift for my wife, right? Wrong!!! On Thursday the 09 August 2013, I contact Tangaroa to make a booking - "Sir, Karin is not here now - she handles the bookings - she will phone you right back within 20 minutes? " 4 hours later no phone call - so I phone back. I book for one person for Saturday. Thursday afternoon I get a mesage informing me that my booking for two is R1590, & I must pay the amount into their account. Hold on, I booked for one - let me phone them again to rectify - "Hello sir, Karin is not here, I'll get her to phone you back so that we can find out what's going on. Again no phone call. Friday night, -I phone back - Jan answers. Sorry we've given your booking away - we cant help you. Tangaroa Spa epitomizes what is wrong in this country - callous, unreliable, insenstive - come to Tangaroa Spa- where our lust for money supercedes our service delivery. For Godsake people - stay away from this place!
