Poor Workmanship

Took boots for heels. Besides the guy trying to give me someone else's boots when i collected, he still had the nerve to ask if i was sure they weren't mine!! 2 weeks later heels fell off. Took them back and was appalled at the workmanship. He just banged 5 nails into each heel and half of them were protruding. Even the N1 city branch was horrified when i showed them. Dawn at H/O wasn't very helpful expecting me to take them back to the station. Asked if they could collect from me in town but wasn't prepared to. Made it sound like they were doing me a favour when all i went for was heels and all i got was trouble. N1 city agreed to do the repair, but they were so damaged from the heel block being scoured, that they had to put in extra layers to get back the height. I wasn't happy and told them i was not going to walk around like a liquorice allsort. So what do they do, they stain them black after i said i wasn't happy with that. the fact remains that my boots were damaged and now have the heel block, another layer and then the rubber heel. they look ridiculous and i think they now need to come to the party. after all my leather ankle boots only cost R700.00!!
