I hired an equipment on a Saturday. Signed a contract which is silent on charges for Sunday. I returned the equipment on Monday & was charged for storing it at my place on Sunday. This information was never at any stage disclosed to me. Had I known I would not have taken the equipment on a Saturday. The Terms and Conditions on the contract are silent on the issue of Sunday & the cost thereof. Therefore my right to information as a consumer which could have informed my decision to either continue/discontinue with the transaction has been violated. I tried to resolve this matter with the Branch Manager & failed. I was instead referred to Head Office. At I have been calling the Sales Manager, Brad Emmett the whole week. I eventually spoke to the GM, Mr Morne Bardnard who was not keen to listen or engage on the matter. He simply asked if I wasn't informed that they close at 12H00 on Saturday. Told him I was not informed. He said I should have read the notice outside about operating hours. He said I have to pay for Sunday irrespective of being ill informed. Hire All makes sales at all cost & doesn't care about its customers. They abuse having access to ones credit card... be warned!
