Mugging at Pavilion Shopping Centre

While walking into Pavilion from Westville, my sister and I were mugged at knife -point outside D&E parking. We immediatley notified a Security Guard located at the parking lot. Unfortunately he could not be interested in what had happend and took his time going to where the incident happened calmly stating that the suspect had already got away without an attempt to assist. he took us to the Security Offices based inside Pavilion where we waited an hour long before anyone could assist. Instead, the lady located at the office made us repeat the incident to every Guard that entered, all they could do was say that we must wait for Mike, an indian gentleman who we were told was incharge of security. Insulting, was that a guard entered who said he had seen the culprit as described on their walki-talkies exiting the Checkers Receiving Dock but the only reason he did not apprehend him was because earlier he had been seen chatting with Gumede and advised that he wouldn't be paid overtime. We had no money to get home let alone the police station and Mike's offer to take us to there didn't happen, he disappeared soon after seein us. Clearly safety is not a priority, nothing was done
