I handed my very expensive linen curtains into The cleaning Brothers on 16/05/2013 to be dry cleaned. I was told to come back the following Wednesday to collect them. I arrived on Friday and they still weren't ready so I went back on Monday 27 May. Whilst they were being fetched from the back I paid the ridiculous R1980 they charged to clean them. When they were brought out the silver on the rings had completely washed out and turned a beige plastic and they were still dirty at the bottom of the curtains. When I asked about what happened 'nobody' had a clue and said that always happens!! If that's the case shouldn't I as a customer be told this beforehand and given the option to leave the curtains or make alternative arrangements to avoid damage to my curtains?? Shouldn't there be a waiver or acceptance signed should you be prepared to take that chance?? I have tried in vain since Monday 27 May to contact Sydney the owner of the store on the store number and his cell number and he has completely ignored all of my messages. I am a regular customer and am absolutely apaled by his lack responsibility!! Please advise where I as a customer stand in a situation like this??
