On 23/4 I bought a Samoa Metallic 6 plate gas stove with grill and electric ignition button. When received 29/4, I noticed that the pop rivets were loose at the bottom and grill knob not catching. On 6/5 I phoned them and told them I'm not happy. I was told by their technician that this was a manufacturing fault and they will exchange it. On 15/5 after still not having received the replacement unit, my husband phoned to enquire and demanded that he be phoned back before close of business (he is still waiting their phone call). On same date received an email from the sales lady that she refuse to speak to him because she finds him "unnecessarily rude and demanding" and she was not aware that there was a problem with the stove. I find this difficult to believe as I was copied in on an email 6 May whereby she was requested to provide exchange invoice. On 21/5 I received delivery of the replacement stove - not what I have paid for (Hawaii White 6 plate gas stove with grill which you have to ignite with a match). How can you sell one thing to me and the provide me with another without consulting client first? I request a refund and pickup of the stove.
