SPCA make it frustrating and a deterrent to adopt

Please SPCA, warn any adopter of these poor animals that it takes a very long time to adopt animals, I went in Monday to Germiston to adopt an dog, Thursday afternoon I get told my adoption has been accepted, I will only be allowed to get the dog on Monday, a whole entire week!
The staff are extremely rude (some telephone manners would be nice), slow, don't phone back when they say they will, and then when you phone back because they did not, the same person you spoke to doesn't know who you are only after 10 minutes!
I always thought the SPCA were efficient and eager and happy to free adopted animals from their cages when they get adopted, not any more!
