Pathetic service (if you could call it "service")

I took my petrol lawnmower for repairs as the machine was cutting out constantly. I did not ask for a service (i.e. replacing of blades etc, etc). I also requested that the height adjustment mechanism be repaired as the connection to the front wheels was held in place with wire.

This particular establishment has a huge sign that says it is not open on Saturdays during the winter!? that was the first warning sign but I ignored it.

My lawnmower was repaired and I rushed home on Friday afternoon and got there at 16:37 only to find the place locked up. I took time off work and went to collect my machine, (Cost R769-42 which is 63% of what I paid to service my car!! And twice the price I paid for the previous service

I asked them if everything had been done and even noticed that the wire had been replaced with a pin on the height adjustment mechanism.

I got home and tried to mow the lawn, on my second turn the mower completely dropped to the ground. The 'pin" replacing the wire had come loose!!

I made four (4) phone calls today trying to find out what they are going to do about it only to be told it does not appear on the job card so they are not sure what I expect from them.
