Too expensive to fix - buy a new machine from us?

I went to Honeydew Lawnmowers for parts for my lawnmower. Firstly i ordered a new blade and back wheels for my Lawnstar mower about 3 weeks ago .. A week ago they called to say they have my front wheels for me??? I did not want the front ones - basically they did not order what i asked for.. I then decided to ask them for universal wheels for my mower and said i would wait for the blades.. After 2 days - they called to tell me that there was all sorts wrong with the mower - the motor is going to burn out etc and it would be too expensive to repair??? and it went in to replace wheels other than that motor was working fine?!?? I then spoke to Barend who is either the owner or manager - just to let him know that his staff does not seem to follow instructions too well .. his response was "well maybe you shouldn't use us then as you did not buy the mower from us". He also said that Lawnstar was useless - however when i contacted lawnstar direct to check if they had stock - they actually did. So who are the useless ones? I had a similar experience with my petrol weedeater there and in both cases they tried to sell me a new machine? It think they exaggerate damages just to up their sales.
