We are a reputable family business in existance for 43 years. We manufacture/farm compost & grass products and supply to supermarkets/nurseries and landscapers. We hired Tracey Jean Geland Block to be bookeeper and control our creditors. After being with us for 3 days, she the FNB business banking certificate and password and proceeded to change creditors banking beneficiaries to be her own. She then paid herself when large sums needed to be paid to creditors. She intercepted post and phone calls to hide creditors statements and legal letters. She forged banking deposit slips to give our creditors the run around. She R2 300 000 from our company by the time we found out. She spent 2 nights in jail a year ago and we are still waiting for the justice system to follow its course. I have subsequently found out that the previous company she worked for went into liquidation due to being owed so much to creditors. She was responsible for paying creditors. I am writing this to warn any businesses out there not to employ this person because I suspect she will do the same to anyone she works for.
