EMS is a rip off, more expansive and just as slow!

I posted an EMS parcel that went out on 12.12.2013. Supposedly it takes 5-7 business days to arrive overseas. Now, after 4 days it is still hanging around at George Hub. I wonder why I pay a premium for express shipping if there is absolutely no "express" involved. It's the same with incoming international EMS parcels, they take 4 weeks!
