SA Post Office
Counter Services doesn't exist

Today, the first working day of the new month, ONLY ONE clerk behind the counter to help the people. The clerk helped (not helped, do everything) for the person in front of me. Sorting out her documents, staple the documents, put it in envelopes and put the addresses on all of them. There was four or five envelopes in total. The rest of the row, already out of the door, waited in agony for the clerk to finish, that they can shift forward. One person behind me asked if they can't get another clerk because it is the beginning of a new month, she said it isn't possible. There wasn't any haste at all, she take her time. It took me 40 minutes from my arrival and being helped. The postal items was already collected and my URGENT parcel doesn't make it in time. "The postal bags was already closed" she said. Now I want to know is it right to the rest in the row to help one person more than she was supposed to. Can't she asks that person to organise her own documents before bringing it to the Post Office? Some people are opening savings accounts, it took at least 20 minutes per person, while the rest must wait. Please do something to this issues, and prevent helping people with document
