I have contacted AAA Home Services a few months ago to attend to an electrical problem at my unit. When I phoned the call center they could not provide me with a call out quote. Since my problem was urgent I used them anyway. They arrived during standard business hours and demanded and took R500.00 as call out. They did not have the right equipment at hand to fix the problem and told that they will be in touch the next day and supply a quote for full repairs.

Nothing happened for 2 days so I contacted them again. After 6 requests and a week later after constant phone calls and emails they finally supplied me with a quote for a ridiculous R2000.00 to install a plug. When I challenged this they told my it is what it is.

They basically make their money off pocketing their cash R500.00 (no tax) call out fees. And then provide no after service and then to throw you off by a ridiculous quote.

Be very careful with AAA-Home Services - daylight.
