Road accident claim from 2006

I was involved in a car accident on the 20.05.2006 where I was badly injured. I took my case to Mehlomakhulu Lawyers in Sterkspruit on the 06 September 2006 to claim for damages. Since the claim I was only contacted once from their office to acknowledge receipt of my claim, to date there has not been any formal communication from their side except I have been in and out of their office with vague promises.
Trice I was in their office and there was no sign of the lawyer in question except I were told he was going to be given the message that I came and I was never contacted in any of the instances. It has been 7 years since I lodged the claim and there is still no sign that the claim will be finalized any time soon. At this point I cant move the case to another organisation as it is beyond five years since it happened and was already reported to them. I will very much appreciate your intervention as all I have tried has landed on deaf ears. Please help.
