MTN ACCOUNT FROM 2004 - 9A0283301

Hi, I have now on numerous occasions been harassed by this company. I was called today and advised that I now have an outstanding cellphone account from 2004/5 in the amount of R45 996.46. I have told the caller that the contract was cancelled by me in Pretoria as the phone was, in terms of sections 10 (3) read with the provisions of section 17 of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969 this account has prescribed in 2007/8.

Should they not stop harassing me I will file a formal complaint with the SAPS and the Ombudsman. I do not want any of my details to be given to them at all.! Being so called attorneys they should surely know about the prescription act.
