I'm done with MBD!

For the past 5 years I have been paying of my discovery credit card and have not missed a single payment. I have requested a statement outstanding balance from MBD not once, not twice... but SIX times and still NOTHING to date. Yet, they will phone and sms me every month to remind me to pay and then to thank me for the payment, which of course I get billed for.
I have contacted both Discovery and FNB only to find out that the debt of approx. R7000 was paid off 2 years ago already as I paid the money directly into the credit card acc. and they have never instructed MBD to collect on their behalf.

This morning I got a phone call from your establishment "kindly" asking me if I want discount and telling me that I have alrealy paid R16000 and that I still owe R6000!!! So my initial debt from R7000 escalated to R22000 after 5 years of paying monthly instalments???

I have reported this matter and MBD to the NCR, Ombudsman and Carte Blanche. My laywer will take this matter further and I will go to court if necessary. In fact, I prefer taking this matter to court. I will not pay a cent anymore and need a correct updated statement by COB on Monday 25/11. I'm done with MBD!
