Garnishee orde

I received a garnishee order in 2011 for the amount of R5740.17 that was paid in full at the end of July 2012. No one from this company contacted me or my employeer regarding any money outstanding. Now, a year later HTN Attorneys forwarded another garnishee order to say that I still own them R1686.16 for interest outstanding for the last year - I mean what the is this???
I contacted their office yesterday to discuss this matter and this morning I received an email saying that they contacted me to state the outstanding amount - which was not the case - i requested a brake down from them to say where they got this amount - according to the statement, the amount outstanding is R1402.64 - now this morning I received a letter to say I still own them R1703.97 - where is this amount coming from??? 3 different amounts - which amount is correct??

Now I have to pay from someone in this company who did not do their work! This is not right???

Why did it take them a year to come back to us regarding the outstanding amount and why all the interest and why 3 different amounts???
