DEBIT ORDER ON INCORRECT DATE

I have been handed over to MBD Attorneys for an account. I stipulated that the debit order date should be the last date of the month as I only get my salary in my account on that day. I received a notification on my cell phone this morning the debit order for MBD Attorneys was un-successful. WHY WILL THIS BE!!! Because I did not receive my salary yet. When I phone them this morning (ones again on my costs) the went through their recordings and confirmed that I did arrange for the last date of the month. Now the money that went into debit on my account because there was no money for the debit order is my problem as well. I am still waiting for someone to phone me back.
