I started receiving sms'se from MBDLC in January 2013. "Settle your Mr Price Account before so and so date" and then the bank details.
I HAD a Mr Price account which I completely paid up in 2007 and don't even have my card anymore.
I've phoned the call centre several times and (tried to) explained to them that my account is paid of 6 years ago and NO I don't have the receipt anymore, IT WAS 6 YEARS AGO!!!
Then all of them promised to update this information on their system and that I will not receive the sms'se again, BUT alas, I still get them twice a week.
If they pass a bad credit judgment/default to my name, I will sue for defamation of character as well as harassment.
