Order return process needs serious jacking up

I ordered a 3G router on 21/11/2013 and the item was delivered the following week. However, the router did not work and after numerous e-mails to Wale (10 over a 7 day period) trying to resolve the problem, I was informed to return the item for inspection. The package was sent via overnight mail on 05/12 to ensure a speedy turn-around time and it was received at 08:14 on 06/12. I immediately sent an e-mail to Wale confirming delivery at the PO with the tracking no. and was told someone would be sent to collect the parcel.
I requested a status update on 19/12 and was informed the parcel had not yet been received and he would check the following day (also that they would be closed until 02/01/2014 and hence e-mails would be delayed). I again responded with the tracking no. and confirmation that the package had been at the PO since 06/12/2013!
Another status update request was sent on 06/01/2014 to which I was told on 07/01/2014 that nothing had been received and someone would again be sent to the PO. It now appears that because the parcel was never collected it has been returned to me!
A phone call to Wale today had him tell me to send it via normal mail - VERY DISAPPOINTING!
