Surprise ruined due to "computer problems"

Today I placed 2 orders with Netflorist - one for my mum and one for best friend who will be having her first Mother's Day this Sunday. The order for my mum went through fine but i noticed that the second order did not reflect on the internet but I did receive a confirmation email with order number 100797020 and of course the payment was immediately deducted from my credit card. I phoned Netflorist at 9h30, immediately after receiving the confirmation email - I was told that the order could not be "seen" but that the matter would be sorted out and I would be called back. At 12h43 I called Netflorist and was told that the order was one that was "stuck" due to computer problems but because I phoned after 12h00 it would not be able to go out today. Hang on!! I was waiting for a call back! So thank you Netflorist for ruining a special surprise! My friend will now only receive her flowers on Monday. I paid for a same day delivery service and that is what I expect to get. I'll be going back to Interflora from now on.
