My cat Died at Birnam Vet

He never listen or heard me when I was telling him her symptoms and seemed cold and even irritated at me questioning him, just giving pills and injections and sending me away. Eventually he decided to put her on a drip although he said he did not believe she was that sick compared to a previous cat. She was relatively healthy, lethargic and a little weak when I took her in, she could walk, eat and drink. He called me the same day to say she took to the drip and was doing well, had eaten a bit. That same afternoon, I called he said she was doing well getting up, nibbling she had now been on the drip for 7 hours and was waiting for her to urinate but she was doing well. The following morning I could not tell you the shock when he told me she was dead. A relatively healthy dehydrated cat dead! He said kidney failure and then congenital heart failure. I have her blood work a week before he took her in and although her kidney numbers were high, it was not life threatening. Even he admitted this. He was obsessing over thyroid numbers which were border-line and said to change her diet and in 2 days she will be fine. When ALL she needed was to be re-hydrated. I failed my cat.
