Bestmed Medical Scheme
False advertising

I have been struggling now for a few days with this, 24/08/2012 i have applied at Bestmed, i could only join on 1st of October as i had to give 1 month Notice to Discovery medical aid and my Fiance was on Afrox medical aid. on the 31st of october 2012 we found out that she is expecting, i phoned best med and they said all is cover but i need to register the baby on 12 weeks where she was 4weeks at that time referring to blood resilt which i have sent to best med. now according to best med they will not cover us because when we applied on the 24/08/2012 we did not mention that she was expecting, now seriously how would we know if we found out on the 31/10/2012. now best med has placed us under close observation, also when i was in trauma at arwyp they also didnt cover me as they said there is a waiting period, when i spoke to Best med they said because i am moving from discovery to bestmed there will be no waiting period. my issue at this stage is that i am struggling for 2weeks to find out regarding the pregnancy with no return so far yet only bad attitude.
