Pay from day one Benefit from month 3 only

This is . i have been with discovery for the past 3 years. never missed a payment and nor did they have any problems with me. i then got vitality on 1 feb. after they tell me all the benefits. today when i tried to use the benefit it wasnt working, when i called in i get told that theres a 3 month waiting period for the travel benefit. how the is this benefitting me?? the sale is on today and not in three months. so im only allowed to use the benefit in like 2 weeks time. big help that is to me.
