Unprofessional response to a geniune inquiry

I sent an email to a number of guesthouses, B&Bs, lodges, etc requesting quotes for an event I have planned in 2 weeks (my birthday). My first response shocked me as I had spent time and effort in complaining a detailed email is to give the owner or manager of the venue a clear indication of what I'm looking for and what I needed. The venue in question (The Grange Guesthouse Durban) simply responded to my email with "We are a guesthouse in a RESIDENTIAL area. No."

NO? NO?! Is this how you professionally respond to emails as an established and reputable venue?? I was angry and replied to their email. I then sent then a message on their Facebook page, airing my grievances. The page administrator (who I'm guessing could be the owner) responded in an even appalling manner! Even referring to my complaint as "bitching"! I responded by highlighting that this was the kind of behavior I was talking about, being unprofessional to potential guests at your guesthouse. She then proceeded to threaten to report me to my work superiors for my behavior, neglecting to realize that what I do and say in my spare time is MY business!

Thereafter, all posts and comments written on their page was erased
