MAKES CLIENTS SIGN A INVOICE THINKING ITS A QUOTE

At no stage were we told in the consulting room that we are signing a invoice, we asked for a quotation to be sent to our medical aid, and then to receive feedback as to which portion the medical aid is paying??? If
we were made to sign a invoice, it was done so under false pretences, how can we sign for a invoice if we dont know if the medical aid will pay in full. Don't they check if the client is happy with the end product? My medical aid was aware that I was shopping around for quotes, as another provider also submitted a quote to my medical aid (much cheaper than Torga) so why would I pay all my savings to Torga if the other supplier was cheaper. The receptionist rather tells my medical aid that they have my signature, yes they do (on a paper that I thought was a quotation request and not a invoice) We have not taken the glasses as it is not what we wanted, its also of poor quality and looks ridiculous on my husband. Also how can the claim be sent in, if the item was not even made and shown to us, they were paid on the 15th and the glasses was only ready on the 18th? Now they want to charge extra R 2000 to re-do the glasses with tint??? - almost R 10 000 for glasses.
