Basically, I had a slight problem with two new guinea pigs that I bought, and it wasn't even an emergency, I could've easily waited till the Tuesday after easter but really wanted to get it done soon, I got lost on the way to the vet and found myself getting their at 5:10ish, I had phoned them before and they had told me that they were just about to leave to a house call and would be therefore closing at 4:30. When I had arrived the gates were all locked up and closed but I saw a car parked there, and so I assumed there was still someone there, I waited for about 5 minutes and then someone came around the back door and collected the piggies from me, 5 minutes later it was all sorted, not only did they assist me after hours, they said that they wouldn't even charge me. Going on past experiences with Vets, I have NEVER met a vet that has not charged me, the simple fact that he did not want to charge me showed me the kind of service he offers, there is a vet that is closer to me than that one, but I will only use him from now on (unless there is an emergency).
