Smoking with tibia fracture

I had an accident, when I was riding a horse. I was riding a horse and the horse in front of me kicked out and broke my tibia bone, 10 cm under the knee. It was at an Saturday morning. We drove to Netcare Privat Hospital Krugersdorp. So the first doctor I have seen, is from an other private hospital and only on weekends in the hospital for emergency. The first impression was and is a good from him. So after the weekend I became a new doc, his name is Dr. Roodt. He don't talk to the patient and the physiotherapist who is all the time with him, a blonde middle old beauty, the only thing what the both told me, that I have to stop smoke. So I went after 5 weeks to the doctor who made the emergency at the day of my accident. This doc said that it looks good and that its healing very well. Now 2 weeks later I have to go back to Dr. Roodt because the other doc is on holiday and I have to fly back at Thursday. Today Dr. Roodt said no healing, you have to stop smoking. His arrogance is the signature of cocaine in every word what I'm talking with him.
