IT TOOK NETCARE UNION HOSPITAL IN ALBERTON MORE THAN 3 HOURS SINCE OUR ARRIVAL ON 6 AUG. 2013 AT APPROX 18:40 TO OPEN A FILE FOR THE PATIENT, SEE A DOCTOR, GO FOR X-RAYS, SEE THE DOCTOR AGAIN (SORRY, BUT NOW IT'S ALREADY SO LATE THAT NOBODY IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE BLOOD ANYMORE) - INFORM US TO COME BACK TOMORROW TO HAVE BLOOD TAKEN AND FOR A SONAR, GET HALF OF PAIN MEDICATION - INFORM US TO GET THE REST FROM A CHEMIST - AND BE SENT HOME AT 22:00. NEEDLES TO SAY THE FOLLOWING DAY WE SPEND ALMOST 3 HOURS AGAIN FOR THE BLOOD TO BE TAKEN, SONAR AND TO SEE A DOCTOR FOR THE RESULTS. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR HEALTH SERVICES? WE GET CHARGED A FORTUNE - BUT NO ACCEPTABLE SERVICE IN RETURN!
