Don't go to Netcare Waterfall Hospital

In 2010 I had a bad cough after having the flu. I was treated a Waterfall casualty by 3 different doctors who treated me for swine flu even though I am allergic to penicillin. That costed me R3500.

Last year on 28 August I was scheduled for removal of my fibroids. I was butchered and stapled 16 times complete with a drain and a lot of pain when I eventually woke up from the anaesthetic. The nurses in the maternity ward made me walk down to dispensary on day 2 to sign for medication. Even the security guard was so worried about me walking in that state.

On 19 February 2013 my husband presented with symptoms of a heart attack close to midnight. He went to the casualty and was treated for indigestion, and sent home even though his ECG report said "DO NOT DISCHARGE" He was successfully treated by Linksfield 2 stents later. He could have died.

3 bad experiences with Netcare Waterfall has taught me to always go to Linksfeld in an emergency even though it is out of the way. At least we'll live then.
