My 55yr old mum fell ill on Wednesday 20 November 2013 with severe abdominal cramps, vomiting and dizziness. Rushed her to Waterfall as it was the closest to Emergency. Triage nurse sitting there, did nothing until other checks benefits and i open file. Dr does not even check her and discharges her after 2 hrs of waiting with script incl antibiotics with pencilin yet she is allergic and I noted same. Still not sure what issue is even after taking bloods. Also 2 very young children came in, 1 with high temp and 1 who fell and hit head. Nurses attended to anyone who was NOT indian first. Discrimination clear, Digusting attitudes, laughing and joking and no comfort given to INDIAN families until they sorted payment. Rather deal the patients especially the KIDS.They are important. Also get a qualified doctor who UNDERSTANDS what allergies are and not prescribes wrong. DON'T recommend Waterfall as a Netcare hospital - you should be ashamed to be called a Netcare Hospital.
