Unprofessional and incompetent

We took our 11 month old daughter to the casualty ward on Saturday evening as we suspected that she might have an ear infection. When we got there, the nurse checked my daughter and said she doesn't think that she has an ear infection. After two hours, around 12pm at night and while my baby was screaming and fussy, Dr Stott walked in a very nonchalant manner, we explained her symptoms and she checked my daughters ears. In a minute consultation she checks her ears and says she will give her some antibiotics for the ear infection. Doesn't bother to rule out anything else. We got her prescription and then went to the pharmacy where Nor Ismail (extremely pleasant and helpful) notified us that our baby was prescribed adult antibiotics. He had to call Dr Stott and ask that she prescribes something more suitable. On the advice of our pediatrician, we saw an ENT specialist yesterday and he said we should stop the antibiotics because she doesn't have an infection or need antibiotics. Extremely annoyed with the way in which my daughter was "treated" by Dr Stott.
